Introductions to friends. :P

    It was my birthday. It was four years ago, so I had just turned 15. I had been browsing around different galleries and art pieces on DeviantArt, the website that soon would become my lifeline and addiction. I came across one picture, titled Ender Hunter Techna3. I had recently created a character who was a Blaze/EnderDragon hybrid, and because I was bored, decided to add a comment to it, starting off a roleplay.

    I thought that it would go on for a few days, maybe a week or two at the most, and that would be it. We would both go our separate ways and forget about each other. I had no idea that it would be the thing that would introduce me to one of my best friends. Over 4 years, I got to know the girl in that picture, Techna. We would call each other on Skype every now and again, just to talk, joke around and discuss what would happen next in our little adventure. After no joke, 100,000 comments, over 75 or so characters and even a meeting over breakfast, I realize that I have a friend I can count on.

    LZ_GaMeR

    A couple of years after we met, I want to say around 2015, she introduced me to a few of her friends. She told me that they were members of a group called the Taeguk Team. I had no idea what that was, or even how to spell the darn thing. So, she decided one day to add me to a group call on Skype. I joined into one of the funniest calls I have ever been on. It was just me, Techna (who for the remainder of this I shall be referring to as Tech) and who I came to learn was LZ_GaMeR, or LZ for short. I’ll be honest, when I first heard her talk, I could barely understand a word she said. She is from Australia and her accent made it difficult to understand her, but I quickly learned how to comprehend.

    I had been so nervous before to meet new people, but I felt perfectly normal talking with these two girls. I had never felt so relaxed in my life. Here were two people who were my exact level of craziness. LZ told me after talking for a while about a realm that she owned on Minecraft, and invited me to join her on it. I hopped on, and was honestly crushed in defeat. All around there were fantastic builds, pixel art and other random contraptions. I felt overwhelmed again. She told me that I could build anything I wanted on this server, and I was still hesitant to do so, worried that I might screw things up. At the time, I remember that she was working on a large scale pixel art of Asriel Dremurr. The moment she headed off, I was so lost. Lol I had no idea what to do. So I did the only thing I really could. I finished the pixel art. 3 hours of placing nothing but black wool and it was done. That was my first day meeting her. Since then, she has become one of my best friends, and has promised me to introduce me to her other friends as well. (Tainted. Where you be m8.)

    And those are the two friends who I’ve met that have changed my life completely. They make my weekends the thing I look forward to, and our game sessions leave me in tears by the time the calls end. I just wanted to say thanks you two!
